Awaiting Ruling Challenging Florida’s Constitutional Ban on Same-sex Marriage

All eyes are on Florida as it awaits a ruling from Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Sarah Zabel, who heard argument yesterday, challenging Florida’s constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. Although it is unknown when Judge Zabel will announce her ruling and she gave no indication as to how she will rule, she did take notice of the recent federal and state rulings striking such bans. Appeal has been promised either way.
