Christina Medina
Christina Medina is a family law associate who focuses on family law issues such as divorce, alimony, child custody, mediation, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She brings to the firm several years of legal experience having worked for the Office of the Public Defender 9th Judicial Circuit and in other law firms where she was responsible for over 160 cases in various stages of litigation and pre-litigation. During her career, Christina has negotiated plea agreements, contracts, and has deposed witnesses, victims, and various members of law enforcement. She has prepared and reviewed discovery to determine the best course of legal action for her clients and drafted fact and expert witness and exhibit lists. In addition to her legal experience, Christina has a background in finance, having worked for the Bank of New York Mellon where she managed accounts worth $62 billion.
Christina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from the University of Central Florida and her law degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Additionally, she earned her M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Florida Bar and a senior editor for the Environmental and Earth Law Journal.
