Christopher L. Smith brings over four decades of legal experience, specializing in criminal, family, and civil law. 

As of counsel at the Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group, Christopher’s experience and dedication to building client relationships positions him as a thoughtful and successful attorney. His practice is built on the foundation of professionalism and integrity, ensuring his work is client-focused and results-driven. Christopher’s acute understanding of the emotional complexities of family law helps him engage in cases and work with clients during stressful times. He focuses on legal issues to achieve his clients’ desired outcomes and goals. 

Christopher’s experience spans various areas of the legal industry. Prior to joining the firm he managed his own private practice for many years and worked in the Florida State Attorney’s office. 

Grounded by the motto, “It takes a lifetime to earn credibility, and it takes only one incident to lose that which you earned,” Christopher is dedicated to a transparent, diligent, and strategic legal approach that prioritizes each client’s unique needs. 

Christopher earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Florida. Outside of the office, he enjoys cooking, skiing, and spending time with his sons.
