Serving Out of Love
When two groups of concerned people join together, there is nothing that cannot stop them from committing to change. When Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group heard of the amazing work Orlando-based Serving Out of Love was doing to help the homeless individuals around Orange County, founder Rebecca L. Palmer knew she had to help.
About Serving Out of Love
During the 2020 pandemic, it hit vulnerable individuals the hardest. Serving Out of Love was born from a genuine love to help. On July 4, 2020, a community cook out with 32 volunteers and 6 sponsors were able to feed 175 homeless individuals.
Now, the organization can provide opportunities for volunteers and sponsors to be directly involved in helping the community by delivering essential services that will help acquire basic needs.
Their goal is to help create a better future with love, hope, and guidance. Currently the organization has over 100 volunteers, 30 sponsors, and are fortunate to have fed more than 1,500 homeless individuals in four events. They provide hot meals, clothes, and a medical unit to care for our homeless men and women on the streets of Orlando, Florida.
