Let’s get to know Lena!

    • What is your name and title? I am pleased to join the firm as an associate attorney. I came to the firm with extensive legal experience in multiple practice areas. I look forward to developing relationships with clients and supporting them in their family law needs.

    • What problems do you consistently solve for your clients? I am well-versed in various areas of the law and pride myself in feeling confident in aiding clients with any issue they may be having, no matter how large or small.

    • What advice do you most commonly give? I commonly advise that there is power and peace in having a plan. I am a huge planner myself and believe helping others look into the future with specific plans and goals will help them gain a sense of hope and clarity in their lives.

    • What accomplishments are you most proud of? I am incredibly proud that I am a person who sets ambitious goals for myself, but unlike most people, I am willing to put in whatever it takes to reach those goals. For example, when I was in middle school, I visited Southern California with my family and as an eighth grader I told everyone I knew that I was going to attend Pepperdine University and compete in Division I athletics. Throughout high school, I was dead set on accomplishing that goal and ultimately made my dreams a reality.

    • What are you most passionate about professionally?Professionally, I am incredibly passionate about helping others. I pride myself in being able to help a good person, on their worst day, and I work hard to use the knowledge I have gained throughout my life to benefit our society.

    • What are you most passionate about personally? Personally, I am a believer that life is about balance, and it is of the utmost importance that people take great care of themselves. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle full of exercise, healthy foods, travels, and time with loved ones. I believe I am a much better lawyer when I prioritize taking care of my mental and physical health.

    • What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it? Even without pay, I would love to teach yoga and volunteer for children in compromising situations.

    • What are you surprisingly good at? I am surprisingly very athletic! I played three varsity sports in High School at Lake Highland Preparatory School – soccer, swimming, and track, ultimately earning 14 Varsity letters. Then, I went on to run Division I Track and Field at Pepperdine University. Additionally, I am great at picking up new sports as an adult, such as tennis, pickleball, yoga, or really anything that involves athleticism.

    • What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” This is a Theodore Roosevelt quote my mom would frequently share with me growing up. I think it’s important to take in all the information you have at the time and make your best decision. It is easy to overthink and look back with regret, but ultimately all a person can do is make their best decision with the information that they have at that specific time. This quote is simple, and makes life seems less daunting.

    • What is your educational background? I have a Bachelor of Communications, Rhetoric and Leadership from Pepperdine University, in Malibu, California. My Juris Doctor is from Stetson University College of Law, in Gulfport, Florida.
