We have a truly distinct culture at the Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group. In a few words or sentences, can you describe this culture and how it continues to fuel our success?
“Available.” Working in a legal environment means managing a heavy workload under high pressure. At the Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group, we strive not only to remain available to our clients during the challenging times they face, but we also support one another.
How does the firm help foster innovation and creativity in the workplace?
We have weekly meetings, and the first item we discuss is called “for the good of the team.” This can entail something like having a great new idea to improve performance or client service at work or simply bragging about your child’s recent school accomplishments. We have a great culture, and we truly care for one another.
How does the firm support diversity and inclusion in the workplace?
Our team comprises individuals with decades of experience in family law, as well as those transitioning into their second career. Each team member brings a unique experience that has fueled our dynamic culture, where people from diverse backgrounds can relate to one another. Diversity and inclusion are the true foundations of creativity and remain at the center of everything we do.
How has the firm evolved to meet the changing needs of the legal industry?
Not only do the attorneys regularly attend social networking events in the community to stay up to date on the new technologies available for our specific legal needs, but our paralegals are also heavily involved in events such as the OCBA Paralegal Section.
What are some of the key initiatives or goals you’re excited about for the future of the firm?
Continuing to grow and being able to help more people navigate their family structures and struggles.
Looking back, what is one moment in the firm’s history that has inspired you or made you proud to be part of our journey?
Almost every time we receive a final judgment, I’m reminded of why I chose this career. Some of these clients have been struggling with their cases for over a year. To bring them the closure they need is extremely fulfilling.
What is your favorite part about working here? Provide an example.
One of my favorite parts about working here is feeling heard and appreciated. When joining this firm, I explained how important my family is to me. There’s no doubt I am a hard worker, but my children will always be top priority. At Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group, I never feel as though I am failing my children due to overburdened work or a schedule that doesn’t allow me to fit my children in.
If you could describe the Rebecca L. Palmer Law Group in one word or phrase, what would it be – and why?
“Here for you.” Because, as simple as it sounds, it is the truth.
